NKSaNDAL KA …….MASASANDALAN SIYA !
Noong 1970”s merong isang bangko na gumamit ng phrase ”para kang nakasandal sa pader . Di nagtagal itong bangko na ito ay kamuntik ng ma-bankrupt. Isang kaso ng isang institution na di pagkakatiwalaan.

Mabuti na lang na ang ating Dios ay di gaya ng bangko na iyon , ang ating Dios ay maaring pagkakatiwalaan ,maari natin siyang pagsasandalan sapagkat ito ang karakter Niya –Siya ay Matapat

Ngayong araw gusto kong pansinin ang katapatan ng Dios ng sa ating buhay. Nawa makita natin ang kahalagahan ng kanyang katapatan sa ating buhay.

FAITHFUL – mula sa salita na “PROP UP or SUPPORT”. Ginamit ito bilang intransitive verb kaya action is being done on the subject.

Kung sa English ito ay mababasa natin na” HE SUPPORTS ME (Siya sumusuporta sa akin)” sa Hebrew isa lang ang basa nito “ I AM SUPPORTED BY HIM (Ako sinusuportahan niya)”

Deut.7,9 – know that the Lord thy God ,he is God, THE FAITHFUL GOD which keepeth covenant mercy wirh them that love and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.

God therefore is the only one upon whom we can absolutely rely or trust being the only one who is truly faithful to His own word. Sapagkat siya lang ang tunay na matapat siya lang nag ating Dios ang kaisaisang sandigan ng aitng buhay.

GAANO KATAPAT ANG ATING DIOS SA ATIN ?

1. Matapat Siyang gumanap sa mga pangako niya sa ating buhay. He is faithful in keeping His promises
Ps.119.89 Forever, O Lord, Thy word is SETTLED in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations. SETTLED – ALREADY DONE.
God has already done and is doing His faithfulness for us even in fulfilling his promises.
2.Wala Siyang sawang nagbabantay at nag-aahon sa atin sa gitna ng kahirapan. God’s faithfulness is seen in his unfailing defense and unceasing help he has for us in time of trials.
1 Pet.4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls in well doing, as UNTO A FAITHFUL CREATOR.

We can commit our lives to him even in rough times . He can be trusted to bring us through for that is his business.

3.Kahit minsa’y one way ang pagibig Niya sa atin (siya na lang parati ang umiibig) , matapat pa rin siya sa atin. In our unfaithfulness God is still faithful.
1Tim. 2.13 if we are faithless, he abideth faithful for he cannot deny himself GOD never lacks faithfulness, for that is denying his being God himself. God can therefore be only Faithful.

4. Sa gitna ng mga tukso sa buhay, matapat siya sa hindi pagpahintulot ng kahit isang tukso na hindi natin kayang harapin. In the midst of temptations we see his faithfulness in allowing not one temptation that is unsurmountable.

1 Cor.10.13 God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able but with the temptation make a way of escape.
His faithfulness even provides us with a way of escape.

5. Matibay siyang nagpapatibay sa atin. God is faithful who establishes us.
I Th. 5.23 And the God of peace sanctify you wholly….without blame at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ .Faithful is he that calleth you , who will do it also.
His faithfulness will even build us up that we may be seen glorifying to Him till He comes.

6. Matapat siyang magpatawad sa atin, pinapatawad niya tayo. He is faithful in forgiving us.
1 Jn. 1.9 If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
His faithfulness causes Him to forgive me.

7.Dahil sa katapatan niya , sinasagot niya ang panalangin ko. He is faithful even in answering my prayer.
Ps 143.1,2 Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplication, in thy faithfulness answer me.
We have a faithful God who answers us.
