MATUWID NA DIOS

Matuwid ang DIOS. He is both just and righteous.
He cannot be just then be unrighteous at the same time, so in the same way He cannot be righteous and then be unjust at the same time.
Kaya sabi ng Biblia,

Ps.145.17 “HE IS RIGHTEOUS IN ALL HIS WAYS AND HOLY IN HIS WORKS”

His righteousness is one that is complete, true, right and straight.

GOD, THEREFORE, IS NOT ONLY THE GOD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND THE GOD OF JUSTICE.

Zeph.3.5 “The just Lord is in the midst thereof; He will not do iniquity; every morning doth
He bring his judgment to light, he faileth not…
God therefore is righteousness and and justice himself.

He hates sin
Ps 11.4-7 “The Lord is in his holy temple….the Lord trieth the righteous:but the
wicked and Him that loveth violence his soul hateth….for the righteous
Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.”

Ano therefore ang expectation niya sa atin? Nais niya na tayo ay mapopoot sa
kasalanan. As He hates sin, the Lord expects us to hate sin too.

Hating sin is a deliberate act. Ginagawa ang pagkapoot sa kasalanan. Hindi lang ito
description ng isang feeling, ito ay isang daily walk in life. Inaaraw-araw ang hatred sa
kasalanan.

How do we hate sin? Paano ba pagkapootan ang kasalanan?

1. Cultivate an attitude that what God hates we should also hate. What He hates therefore is a definite no-no.
2. Know your enemy (Jas.4) Your enemy is sin and its maker- the Tempter.
3. Be on guard against His attacks. He attacks using our desires. He attacks using the allures of the world. He attacks using himself (the world, the flesh, and the devil)
There are 7 areas in our life that we should guard:
1. thoughts. 2 Cor 10.5, Phil.4.8
2. emotions. Gal. 5.22
3. speech Jas.3.6
4. relationships
5. time 2 Cor 6.2
6. energy
7. details of your life Lk .16.10

He visits with judgment those who walk in sin.

Dan.9.14 “Therefore the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us; for the
Lord is righteous in all his works which he doeth; for we obeyed not his
voice.”

Imagine God who watches or guards judgment for us if we walk in sin.

What does God want expect us to do? God wants us to walk forwarned against sin.
And his warning to us is this, God is ever ready to guard us from sin by “guarding”
judgment for us if we sin.

Tingnan natin ang mga principles tungkol dito:

1. God loves us as his children.
2. He never lets go of us.
3. He is ever ready to correct us if we walk in sin. For those who do not know
Him and walk with Him as His own children, He has already judged.

3.Binibigyan niya ng gantimpala ang matuwid. He rewards those who are
righteous.

2 Tim 4.8 “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the
Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me
only, but unto all them thatlove his appearing.’

Heb. 6.10 “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which
you have shewed toward his name….”

If you are doing good without seeming results God is never unjust to ignore what you
have done and what you are doing.

God expects us to wait on Him, even for rewards.
As he is righteous and just, He
will never forget what you have done, so continue doing good.

May 3 Principles tungkol dito:
1. God is always faithful.
2. As He is faithful, He will always punish sin.
3. What we sow we reap. If we sow goodness, we shall also reap it, sometimes not in this world but always in the Lord.

proteksyon na binibigay niya sa atin He shows righteousness by
protecting and delivering us from our enemies.

Ps 129.1-4 ” Many times have they afflicted us from my youth, may Israel now say:
Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not
prevailed against me.The plowers plowed upon my back; they made
long their furrows. The Lord is righteous: he hath cut asunder the
cords of the wicked.”

What does the Lord want us to do? The Lord wants us to be ever grateful unto
him.
Pansininin natin yuong phrase ---May now Israel now say…. Magpasalamat nawa ang
Israel…. Nagpapasalamat ba tayo sa ating Dios?

5.Ang mga pangako niya tinutupad niyang lahat. He shows His
righteousness by keeping his promises.Siya ang original promise
keeper.

Neh.9.7-8 “ Thou art the Lord God who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him
forth out of Ur of the Chaldees and gavest him the name Abraham, and
foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him
to give him the land…, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast perfomed
thy works , for thou art righteous.”

1. did choose
2. Brought out
3. Gave
4. foundest
5. Made
What does the Lord expect us to do? Believe on Him. Have faith on Him.

His righteousness is above all seen when He
became the payment for our sins thus saving us.

Rom.3.25 “ When God hath set forth to be a propitiation, through faith, in his blood,
to declare his righteousness, because of the passing over of the sins
aforetime, in the forebearance of God; for the showing, I say, of His
rightteousness at the present season: that He might himself be just, and
the justifier of him that faith in Jesus

Conclusion:
1. Kapootan natin ang kasalanan.
6. Magpasalamat tayo sa kanya.
