HOW TO BUILD A HOME

Proverbs 24. 3 - 4 By wisdom a house is
built,
And by understanding it is
established:
And by knowledge the
rooms are filled
with all precious and
pleasant riches.

1. Use wisdom with which to see beyond what we usually see. You will need it as you plan and
walk in life.

Wisdom implies seeing with accuracy, seeing right through the foundation, or seeing right
below the surface. It demands looking at oneself and others with a Godly perspective.
Built on the other hand means to restore or rebuild so that something flourishes. It is the
the same word used in Gen. 2 when God rebuilt the rib to form Eve.

2. Dig out life’s foundation with understanding . Understanding provides you with a stable
footing in an unstable world.

Understanding means responding with insight. In the original it means sifting situations to gain
full awareness for a full response.
Establish is to set in order or in upright position or to place in the right footing.

3. Furnish the home you have with knowledge.

Learn with a teachable spirit and with a willingness to hear.
Fill is to bring fulfillment and abundant satisfaction to every room.
