Para Saan Ba Ang Mga Kaloob Niya Sa Atin?
What Are His Gifts For?

Last week sinabi natin na;
1. A real person, God, gave us the gifts.
2. We have specific gifts God designed us for.
3. God gave us gifts that we may be able to accomplish the purpose of Christ in the church.
Ang Panginoon ay ay di lang basta nagbibigay ng mga kaloob ng walang dahilan. Binigay Niya ang mga kaloob na ito para sa kanyang mga layunin
. vv.12-15
12. to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ
may be built up
13. until we reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God,
and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of
Christ.
14.Then we will be no longer infants, tossed back and forth by the waves,
and blown here and thereby every wind of teaching and by the
cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.
15. Instead speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into
Him, who is who is the head, that is Christ.
16. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting
ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Proposition: Kung alam natin kung para saan itong mga kaloob ng Panginoon magagamit lang natin ang mga ito ayon sa mga layunin Niya.

May 3 na Layunin ang mga kaloob ng ating Panginoon para sa atin:

1. Binigyan tayo ng mga kaloob para sa paghanda ng ating mga kapatiran sa gawain (v.12). God gave us gifts to help prepare our brothers and sisters for the ministry that they will do.

a. You and I have gifts not for us to display these gifts but for these gifts to be used in assisting each other in using our gifts to build up or enlarge the body of Christ. Preparation of the saints is #1 of His purposes.
God gave us gifts that we may serve each other so that each other may serve.

Ang salitang “works” (accusative case) ay nangangahulugan na may direksyon ang pagbibigay ang Panginoon. Meron siyang purpose.
Kaya maari nating matranslate ang verse na ito “To prepare God’s people for the works which is prepared for them in the ministry”- “Upang ihanda ang mga ginanap banal ng Diyos sa mga gawain na nakatalaga na para sa kanila.

b. God’s gifts not only have a purpose but these gifts have a direction in the purpose. V.12b “So that the body of Christ may be built up.” “Upang makumpleto ang katawan ni Kristo.”

Ang phrase “so that the body of Christ be built up” ay tumutukoy sa pagpapalaki at pagpapalawak ng Katawan Niya.

Principle 1: Ikaw at ako ay binigyan ng mga kaloob ng Panginoon hindi upang idisplay ang mga ito ngunit ibinigay niya ang mga ito upang magamit din ng bawat isa ang mga kaloob sa ikakakumpleto ng Katawan niya.


2. Ang mga kaloob ay binigay Niya upang tayo ay maging kaayaaya kagaya Niya. (v.13) God gave us gifts that we may be a pleasing sight like Him.


Ang salitang until ay nangangahulugan na ibinigay Niya ang mga
gifts para sa atin hanggang sa katapusan kung saan hindi na
kailangan ito.

We are called by God to become a pleasant display of His power.
Being a pleasant sight to see means…..
a. Knowing the Son of God, Jesus Christ and his teachings. Mahalaga na kilala natin ang Panginoon at ang mga turo Niya.
b. Being mature in the Lord means becoming more and more like Him

Principle 2: Binigyan niya tayo ng mga kaloob upang maging
kagaya Niya.He gave us gifts that we may become like Him.





3. Ang mga kaloob Niya ay para sa ikakatatag natin. God gave us gifts to make us strong. vv.14-16

May dalawang prinsipyo dito;

Principle 3: Binigay niya sa atin ang mga kaloob bilang sign na hindi tayo pinabayaan ng Panginoon. He gave us gifts as one of the signs that He has not left us to our own devices.
We are given gifts to be a strong display of His Power.

He makes us strong in two areas, within us and outside of us.
a. He makes us strong inside us.
Tossed to and fro is in the active voice, thus it states what we will not allow ourselves to do. We will not allow falsehood to take hold of our lives. God will see to it that we wont allow such things to happen.

b. He makes us strong outside us.
The Lord also makes us aware through the gifts the seductive methods false teachers use.

Principle 4: Tayo ay proyektong personal ng Dios at binigyan Niya tayo ng mga kaloob upang maging malakas tayo sa gawaing pagpapalakas sa iba. We are God’s personal project and as God’s project He also gave us gifts to make us strong in making others strong.
v.16 joined and held as each part does its work



Conclusion: Tayo’y binigyan niya ng mga kaloob di upang idisplay natin ang mga kaloob na ibinigay niya kundi upang maging isang pleasnt na display at isang strong display ng kanyang kapangyarihan.
